Physics bachelors one year later

Only 25% of graduates with a bachelor's degree in physics go to graduate school for physics. Many go to graduate school for different fields, but even more, a little over half of all physics bachelor's degree recipients directly enter the workforce! About a third of those people find work in the private sector. You can find information about the kinds of jobs physics bachelors have throughout this website, including on our profiles page for physics bachelors

Many of those who do go on to graduate school also end up finding jobs in industry, and we have career profiles for physics PhDs you can check out here.
